Roses of Recognition to the Finance Committee

The Parish Committee presents Roses of Recognition to the small but mighty Finance Committee. Lissa McBurney and Steve Pillemer did the intensive work required to research and summarize budget activity for the coming year, in time for an earlier-than-usual Annual Meeting. And it was much more than a standard update, given the external economic situation and our own ministerial transition. Additional research, thought, and time were needed to ensure the First Parish budget reflected reasonable and prudent expense estimates, as well as one-time transition and search costs.
