The Parish Committee (ParCom) meets the third Tuesday of the month from 7-9 pm. Meetings are generally on zoom. Exceptions will be noted in the Calendar and the agenda for that meeting.

Agendas will be posted at the latest 24 hours before the meeting in this page with the most recent first. Within a two weeks of the meeting, minutes will be posted here.

ParCom meetings are open to all. You are welcome to attend all or part of each meeting. There are some times when sensitive discussions or contracts are discussed, which are “Executive Sessions” where only ParCom members and relevant invitees are included.

Meetings generally include a summary of the monthly and year to date financials, a “State of the Parish” from the ministers, updates on ParCom subgroups’ projects for the year, presentations and proposals from committees and groups, and discussion and vote on policies.  Again, while we often invite people to come and present, anyone who wants to sit in for specific topics or more generally to learn about First Parish governance are invited to attend.
