Taschlich for Rosh Hashanah

First Parish Unitarian Universalist in Arlington Jewish Connections warmly invites you to the ritual of Tashlich for the Rosh Hashanah new year. We will meet at 5:30pm on Tuesday, September 23rd at the main door of First Parish at 630 Mass Ave. Arlington. Please bring a mask and some breadcrumbs. Copies of the ritual can be emailed in advance. Ask if you would like a copy. Contact us at – jewishconnections@firstparish.info

At 6pm, we will walk 10 minutes to the Mill Brook, to Cooke’s Hollow. Each person will throw the breadcrumbs they bring into the water to cast away sins and regrets.

The event is suitable for all ages and is open to all. It occurs rain or shine. Please bring a mask, bring breadcrumbs, dress for the weather, and wear comfy shoes. Children are most welcome. BYOBC – Bring Your Own Bread Crumbs
