Taking Heart in Tough Times

We invite you to come together to reconnect with each other, acknowledge our weariness, grief and uncertainty, and explore ways to find active hope for the times we live in. This day-long workshop based on Joanna Macy’s The Work That Reconnects is designed to strengthen our relationship to each other and the living Earth and fuel our commitment to create a life sustaining culture. Participants will be invited into a variety of participatory practices including pair conversations, shared rituals, guided meditation, individual reflection, songs and poetry. . Facilitator Anne Goodwin is a longtime FP member, a certified facilitator of the Work That Reconnects, a song leader, and a climate activist. Snacks and a simple vegetarian lunch will be provided.
