“Reverberations” – post service conversation with Jordan Clark

May 10 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

The Social Justice committee is pleased to have Jordan Clark, a member of the Wampanoag Tribe of Aquinnah, and executive director of the Harvard University Native American Program, discuss “Complexity and Balance in Spirituality” in the Shinn Service. In his talk, and more personally at Reverberations, Jordan will address balancing Wampanoag spiritual practice and western/Christian practice, focusing on how that duality and complexity inform how he navigates the world and manifests in his life and work.

He’ll bring his experience in teaching, youth media activism, curriculum development with a focus on social justice, and youth and community organizing with several nonprofits, as discusses his work to celebrate Native American Nations and community.

Reverberations will be held after service in the Sanctuary. Enjoy light refreshments and hear more about Jordan’s work and thoughts.
