Recruiting Lay Ministers and Worship Associates

The Shared Ministry Committee would like to hear from you if you would like to become a Lay Minister or Worship Associate, or to learn more about these important First Parish programs. A Q&A session for those interested in learning more will be held on Zoom on Tuesday, May 21 at 7:00 pm, with Rev. Erica, coordinator of Shared Ministry Cathy Modica, and others; please contact Cathy (sharedministry@firstparish.info) to let us know you are interested.

Lay Ministers work with Rev. Marta and Rev. Erica to provide pastoral care for members of the community, ‘supporting one another through the changes in our lives.’ Worship Associates have a public presence in Sunday services and support the organization of services throughout the year, including creating a plan for summer services.
Applications are being accepted for both the lay ministry and for worship associates. Click here to fill out an application (a Google form).
