Looking at Others and Ourselves

We will take time to observe photographs and narratives on display in the Parlor which the photographer, Jess Dugan, says “offer a nuanced view into the struggles and joys of growing older as a transgender person and offer a poignant reflection on what it means to live authentically despite seemingly insurmountable odds.”
After reflecting quietly on our experiences of these human stories of struggles and joys we will take turns sharing how we are affected and listening closely to each other.
All are welcome! However, we will close the doors when we start so we can have a clear focus and hold each other’s views and feelings without interruptions.
