Conversations On Grieving in Community

April 22 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Many of us are grieving a range of losses: the passing of family or friends, transitions in our community; major shifts in our country.  Our views about grieving have a profound impact on how we navigate these losses in our lives.

Join this conversation moderated by Michele Bograd, a certified end-of-life doula and psychologist, to explore your thoughts and feelings about such questions as: What are you grieving? How have you felt accompanied or isolated in your grief? What messages have you gotten about the “right” way to grieve?  What do we learn socially and culturally that influences how we support and care for others as they grieve?

Through these conversations, the goal is to enrich our own experiences of loss and to think creatively about how we can more deeply support one another as we grieve.

Please register online at this link.  Questions can be directed to STAR@firstparish.info.
