Break Barriers, Build Beliefs Workshop
October 17 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
The Settled Minister Search Committee invites everyone in the congregation to attend the Break Barriers, Build Beliefs (B4) Workshop online or in person*.
This interactive experience, led by a UUA-trained facilitator, promotes inclusive thinking and helps prevent discrimination in our search for a new minister.
Together, First Parish attendees will:
- Consider the hopes, expectations, and concerns they have for a new minister
- Learn more about the ministerial search process
- Explore how creating categories and putting people in them interferes with choosing the best candidate.
*For those gathering in the meeting house, lunch will be served and childcare will be provided!
