“How We Win” Book Discussion Series

Winning social justice struggles is an art form, one that George Lakey has become an expert in over six decades of activism. In his short, punchy book, “How We Win: A Guide to Nonviolent Direct Action Campaigning”, he lays out principles, illustrates them with stories, and dialogues about them with two other experienced organizers. In this 3-session book group, Betsy Leondar-Wright will lead us in a discussion to apply Lakey’s strategies and apply them to our movement in defense of democracy. There is a 20-person limit so please register here. The Zoom link and more detailed information about the reading assignments will follow once you register. It will not be recorded.
