Parish Committee Roses of Recognition go to the Stewardship Committee, which put a great deal of effort and creativity into this year’s campaign, Upholding What Matters. Focusing on the importance of connection at First Parish, they worked with committee and group leaders, who brought the Stewardship message to members with a video message from the interim minister and short member testimonials. Successful Stewardship events included the congregational lunch, RE family game night, pizza for parents of teens, memorable pitches from the pulpit, and a phone bank. The annual stewardship drive pays for nearly three-quarters of First Parish’s budget. We are grateful for the hard work of Emily Balkam, Megan Rising, and chair Joel Carlton-Gysan, calling us to support the life and mission of First Parish with our time, talent and treasure.
