Roses of Recognition: Religious Education Committee

The Parish Committee recognizes the Religious Education Committee with a bouquet of roses for their extraordinary service to the congregation. Betsy Carlton-Gysan, Janis Fleishman, Sharon Jacobson, Kat Cass, Eric Breck, Lauren Newton, and Cathy Slesnick have stepped in during Rev. Stevie’s leave, helping to maintain rich educational experiences for our families. Multiple members have covered Sunday morning classes and added support coverage to Sunday evenings. They are energetically fostering family engagement, co-hosting a multigenerational dance with the youth group in January, a free family game night with the Stewardship Committee in February, and the monthly potluck in March. We are a community that cares deeply about its children and youth. That care continues to be one of the main reasons people join First Parish, thanks to the work of the RE Committee and staff.
