Roses of Recognition August 2025
The Parish Committee appreciates the Interim Minister Search Committee and extends a “Rose of Recognition” to say thank you all! Members – Marilyn Downs, Elizabeth Hunter, Lori Kenschaft, Marie Meteer (Chair), and Jim Ptacek – worked collaboratively and diligently last spring to accomplish several major steps. They prepared materials about FPUU in order to attract prospective candidates. They each reviewed applications and interviewed candidates. Finally they enthusiastically recommended Rev. Dr. Jonipher Kūpono Kwong as our Interim Minister. They kept everything right on schedule, so Rev. Jonipher was able to relocate to be ready to start with us on August 1st and to join and offer an opening prayer for our community potluck on Aug. 6th. Very well done.
