Roses of Recognition: Fleming Family and Julius Pereli

The Parish Committee gratefully extends Roses of Recognition to the Flemings, five-star Executive Chefs for March 8th’s Congregational Luncheon. With the able assistance of Sous Chef Eleanor Fleming, Katherine and James headed a team of volunteers to create a BBQ banquet for all. The festive inter-generational gathering provided an opportunity for messages from the Stewardship Committee, the Parish Committee and the ministers about the importance of a pledge from every household to keep First Parish humming.

Julius Pereli receives a Rose as well, for serving as consultant and sharing his secret recipe for a healthy dollop of love in every serving. We understand that Julius is often found in the kitchen during the week, whether there’s a luncheon coming up or not, doing what needs doing to keep the place organized and functional. Julius’s extraordinary commitment to the First Parish kitchen as a hub of connection and belonging is deeply appreciated
