Rose of Recognition February 2026
The Parish Committee extends a Rose of Recognition to Steph Miserlis, volunteer moderator of the FPConnectionBoard. Since 2020, Steph has supported the email list that gives Arlington parishioners an opportunity to connect, and to give and receive help.
Steph stands guard daily, watching for (frequent) spammers. She also does the challenging work of upholding the guidelines established over the years, based on congregational surveys. The moderator receives complaints and follows up as needed with reminders.
Over the years, many of us have received recommendations for a great plumber, a snow shoveler, or found a new home for a piece of furniture we can’t take with us to our new place. All in a space free from rants and long discussions with strangers. Steph continues as a top quality moderator, carrying forward excellence from previous moderators. Shout out to Sarah Trilling and Amy Speare for creating and moderating FPConnectionBoard years before Steph took it on. Long live the FPConnectionBoard!
