What to do if ICE Enters the Meetinghouse
The Defending Democracy Working Group is hosting a Zoom Training for First Parish lay leaders given by MIRA (Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy) on what to do if confronted by ICE in houses of worship. This training will address:
- What to do if ICE comes to your house of worship
- How immigrant families can prepare in case of emergency
- Where to get legal help
- How to be an immigrant advocate
- How to support MIRA’s policies
