DESCRIPTION:At noon after the June 1 Sunday service\, First Parish’s Working Group on Peace and Justice in Israel-Palestine will host Amahl Bishara\, a professor of anthropology at Tufts University. She will speak about Aida Refugee Camp and her work with the camp children writing The Aida Alphabet Book. She will speak about the process of writing the book and the situation of the refugee camp in the occupied West Bank. Although the book is for children\, the discussion is intended for adults. The event is being co-organized with Arlington for Palestine. Light lunch foods will be available.
