Our largest booth\, Household Finds is everything that doesn’t fit somewhere else.  Lots of kitchen wares\, including small appliances\, and a solid mass of other bargains. \nToyland.  Games and toys like puzzles\, Legos\, and squirt guns.  In past\, has featured finds like American Girl dolls and indie board games. \nJewelry Box. Rings\, bracelets\, earrings\, brooches\, scarves\, and handbags can all be found in the Jewelry box.  Everything from fun costume jewelry for dress up time at day care to sterling silver and 14K gold.  Come early because the dealers get there fast. \nReboots and Rewinds (electronics).  Computers\, monitors\, stereos\, speakers\, headphones\, keyboards and mice.  Whether it’s a Chromebook for school or an 80W amplifier\, you can find it here for less than anywhere else. \nBook Nook.  Tables and tables of books that will fuel your book group for years to come. \nThe Greenery.  A great selection of indoor and hardy outdoor plants\, pots\, and gardening accessories. \nThe Blue Table.  An unusual tradition started many years ago that draws blue plates\, cups\, vases\, and more from our Attic Treasures.  By far the prettiest table in the sanctuary. \nThe Buttery.  Baked goods are always a hit.  Wrapped for individual sale with a list of ingredients. \nCafe.  Our pop-up cafe always puts together a spectacular meal.  Never the same cuisine twice\, we’ve served spicy-sweet Caribbean\,  Vietnamese Bahn Mi\, and New Orleans muffalettas. \nRaffle.  Year after year our church community pulls together\, by hook or by crook (see what I did there)\, a beautiful quilt that is raffled on Saturday. \nDonations \n

DESCRIPTION:REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED\n“UnFerry Beach: A Day of Fun at the Meetinghouse and Beyond!” is happening! Have you always wondered what happens at the mythical Ferry Beach Retreat? Are you pining for a Ferry Beach-like retreat this year\, even though it doesn’t include a weekend in Maine? \nMark your calendars! Sept\, 28\, 2024 10am-9pm. There will be food\, fun\, activities\, outings\, music\, and even the (in?)famous Talent/No Talent Show! Participate as much or as little as you like! Explore local museums\, play at Spy Pond\, relax in rocking chairs in the Courtyard and gab with your friends…jam sessions\, arts and crafts\, puzzles and games…you name it! \nSuggested donation (more if you can\, less if you can’t.  Any excess goes to support the sliding scale). This includes lunch and dinner! \n\nAges 18+           $50\nAges 10-17        $25\nAges 5-9           $10\nUnder 5            free!\n\nRegistration is open on Realm.  Email ferrybeach@firstparish.info with questions\, suggestions\, or offers to help. DESCRIPTION:Parents of First Parish\, this night is for you! Could you use a date night? Some time to do some shopping? A little quiet around the holidays? \nFirst Parish is offering free childcare on Saturday Dec 9th from 5-8pm to help in that. \nFor the children\, we’ll host dinner\, some light activities\, time to explore the church\, and part of a movie. \nThis is for children ages 3-10 years old. We are capping this at 20 children\, to keep good adult-children ratios. SUMMARY:Vigil: Refugees are welcome; hate is not: EVENT CANCELLED
DESCRIPTION:The Vigil for Sunday 10/22 has been cancelled.\nJoin the First Parish community for a vigil in front of our meetinghouse on Sunday\, October 22\, 3:30 – 4:00 to stand in opposition to local and international hostility and atrocities against refugees. Our message is Refugees are welcome\, hate is not. \nWe will be making signs at 3:00 and then stand vigil at 3:30. \nFollowing the vigil all are welcome to proceed to the sanctuary for a 4:00-6:00 workshop led by Standing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ)\, where we will discuss concrete things people and organizations can do and review the different kinds of courage that are needed to confront white supremacist here in MA and beyond. \nAll are welcome to any part of this important afternoon for justice.
