SUMMARY:Ferry Beach Weekend in Saco\, Maine
DESCRIPTION:Registration is open for the 2026 Ferry Beach Retreat!\nCome one\, come all and register! \nDate: Friday September 25th (5pm) through Sunday September 27th (noon)\, 2026\nPlace: Ferry Beach Retreat and Conference Center\, 5 Boardwalk Drive\, Saco\, ME \nAll are welcome: members\, non-members\, families\, couples\, singles\, youth and children! It’s the perfect opportunity to get to know one another\, relax\, and have fun in community. \nWhether you are seeking connection and conversation or quiet and contemplation\, the Ferry Beach retreat has something for you!  If you’re looking for peace and solitude\, the campus is large\, the beach is on-site\, and the dining hall has a wonderful wrap-around porch filled with rocking chairs.  You’re welcome to be as active or low-key as you wish. There are numerous attendee-run activities including\, in the past\, yoga\, meditation\, group walks along the beach and/or through the woods\, a shopping trip to the Saco Goodwill\, art-making\, Frisbee golf outing\, card and board games\, puzzles and more!  And Saturday night boasts both a bonfire and the famous Talent/No Talent Show. \nLodging options include:\n\nCamping at the Ferry Beach campground (least expensive option)\nDorm rooms with twin/queen/bunk beds and shared bathrooms (most popular option)\nCabins/cottages with private baths (most expensive option)\nStay in a nearby motel and attend the retreat as a “commuter”(you arrange lodging for yourself)\n\nMeals are provided:\n\nThree on Saturday\, one on Sunday—no cooking or dishes! Yahoo!\nLunch on Sunday is an add-on this year –you’ll have the chance to choose it when you register. We hope everyone will stay for lunch after the service\, so we can wrap up the retreat together.\nDinner on Friday is also available as an add-on!\n\nNotes:\nWe will be sharing the campus with another group this year\, so the earlier you register\, the greater the likelihood that you receive your first choice of accommodation. \nThe Ferry Beach Retreat and Conference center is committed to accessibility and has made several improvements to the walkways and grounds in recent years. Please see the website for more details about accessible spaces/bathrooms. If you have accessibility needs\, please include specifics in the Notes section of the registration page. \nPlease don’t let cost be an obstacle. Scholarships are available. Contact either Rev. Jonipher or a member of the Committee for information prior to registering. \nUnlike prior to 2025 when registration for this event has been on Realm\, registration is now done through Ferry Beach’s online registration page. \nThree Registration Options:\n1. Staying On-site: Use this on-site link. Choose the room type (e.g. a queen room in Quillen).  There are detailed lodging descriptions on the registration page.\n2. Staying Off-Site (Commuter): If you are staying off-site but would like to have meals on campus\, use this commuter link.\n3. Youth Group Retreat: Registration link coming soon.  Please do not include your youth group member on your family registration.\n\nNotes on Registration:\n1. There is a “Notes” section towards the end of the registration process to provide additional information including requests for specific rooms/roommates\, ADA requirements\, and if you have requested a scholarship. Ferry Beach will make every effort to accommodate room requests\, but they cannot be guaranteed\, as room assignments may shift as people sign up who have specific needs\, rather than preferences.\n2. Ferry Beach asks for a 25% deposit at the time of registration\, but if that is not practical for you or you have requested a scholarship\, you may skip the payment field and your registration will still be made.\n3. We have established a $575 price cap for family groups who register for dorm accommodations.  The price cap does not apply if you choose to stay in the premium Cabins and Cottages. Please specify “Price Cap” in the Notes section if your registration total exceeds that cap.\n4.
