SUMMARY:Worship Service: July 7\, at 10am
DESCRIPTION:Worship online only ~~ click the yellow button below\nAvon Lewis\, Worship Leader\n“Union Work as Spiritual Work”\nThe job of a union organizer has many aspects\, but at its core\, it is about helping people find their voice and advocate for themselves and others. It is about being with people in hard moments. It is about creating community. In this summer session\, I will talk about lessions learned from my five years as a union president and relate that to how that both informs and was informed by my UU beliefs \nDuring the summer our worship is led each week by a member of our congregation. Avon Lewis has been a secondary science educator for more than 25 years and active in her local union for the last 15\, first on the negotiating team\, and then later as a board member and finally as president. She has been a member of FP for about 20 years\, and with her wife has raised their three daughters in this community. \n\n\n\n scroll right scroll left\n\n\n\nView or download the Order of Service\n\n\nThe Order of Service is generally posted on Thursday or Friday before the service\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nClick To Join Worship on Zoom\n\n  \nOr use your phone to participate with audio only by dialing 929-205-6099 then enter 859 7713 3204 followed by the pound key. \nIf you have trouble connecting via Zoom\, you may view the sermon on our YouTube channel at a later date. \nBack to Events
