DESCRIPTION:Join us for a townwide celebration of this land’s First Peoples at the Arlington Masonic Temple (19 Academy St)! This free event for all ages will feature a fun and educational performance by the Red Hawk Singers and Dancers. Through song\, dance\, and teachings\, the Red Hawk Singers and Dancers promote traditional Wampanoag values such as humility and respect to create true connections between diverse cultures and communities. \nSponsored by the Cyrus Dallin Art Museum\, Arlington Historical Society\, Arlington Human Rights Commission\, Old Schwamb Mill\, Robbins Library\, and First Parish Arlington Indigenous Justice Working Group. \nThis program is funded in part by a grant from the Arlington Commission for Arts and Culture\, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council\, a state agency.

SUMMARY:Monthly Community Potlucks\, 2026-2027
DESCRIPTION:A community potluck dinner sponsored by the STAR committee\, will be held from 6:00-7:30 September – May on the last Wednesday of the month\, except in November/December when there will be just one potluck\, on Wednesday\, December 2 (hosted by First Parish Jewish Connections in celebration of Hanukkah). \nPotlucks will be held indoors\, in the Vestry\, except in September and May when they might be in the courtyard\, weather permitting.  All are welcome. No sign-up needed.  Please bring a dish to share (but if you can’t\, still come – there will be plenty of food for all); if possible\, bring your own dishes and utensils. \nWe will need a different group or committee to host each dinner. If you are part of a group of at least 5 people\, (including Covenant groups\, knitting groups\, dog-walking groups etc.) please consider signing up for a date to host using this Google sheet.
