DESCRIPTION:Climate Change and the Environment \nhe next congregational art show has the theme of Climate Change and the Environment\, as interpreted by the artist.\nThe show will be hung on December 7th with a reception on December 8th. It will continue through early February. \nFor this show\, we invited works in a variety of media and asked artists to share something about their work\, and how it represents what is important to them about “climate change and the environment”. What do you notice in nature? How do you feel about the climate events that are happening all around us? What concerns you? All works were created by members and friends of First Parish. \nThe opening will be Sunday December 8\, 12:00 – 2pm in the parlor. Refreshments will be served.

SUMMARY:Listening Circles: Marta's Retirement
DESCRIPTION:The First Parish Committee on Ministry is holding a listening circle on Sunday\, December 15th immediately following the worship service at 11:45AM in the Sanctuary. In the wake of Marta’s retirement announcement\, we know many folks are eager to share their thoughts and reactions. We’re holding this session to provide a space for parishioners to listen and support each other in this transition. A member of the Parish Committee will also be available to answer questions about logistics and the upcoming search process. Note this is for congregants\, the ministers will not be present. All are welcome; we will hold another session in January.
