DESCRIPTION:There’s nothing more powerful in promoting an idea than your personal network– family\, friends\, neighbors\, and co-workers. These are the people who are most likely to listen to you and respect what you tell them. However even with these people it’s not always easy to raise politically sensitive issues. Please come to this one-hour workshop to practice how you can influence your network and promote democracy. The session will be facilitated by First Parish member Mary Cummings who has done this workshop several times including for the MTA and UU The Vote. \nStay and enjoy the Community Potluck following the workshop!
