DESCRIPTION:PASSAGES: Paintings by Marilyn Downs \nThe First Parish Art Team is hosting a show of paintings by Marilyn Downs from September 22 – November 15\, 2024 in the parlor. Her oil paintings are primarily landscapes\, drawn from places where she has spent time and felt inspired by what she saw or felt. She chose the theme “passages” to reflect both the tangible and metaphorical experiences that can be found in nature: paths\, gorges\, mountains or water that can symbolize movement\, flow\, transition\, journey or transformation. \n  \nThe opening will be Sunday September 22\, 11:45 – 2pm in the parlor. Refreshments will be served. An artist talk will be scheduled in late October\, date TBA.
