SUMMARY:First Parish Annual Meeting 2026
DESCRIPTION:The Annual Meeting will be at 11:30 AM on Sunday\, May 3\, 2026\, at 630 Massachusetts Avenue in Arlington\, Massachusetts. The meeting will be an in-person meeting\, with voting available only in-person\, as per the First Parish bylaws\, and there will be a livestream via Zoom. \nZoom attendees are NOT required to register for this meeting. Zoom attendees will be able to hear/read captions and see the meeting\, but they will not be able to speak or vote. If you would like to watch the Zoom livestream\, you may do so by clicking here. \nAnnual Meeting is a time to come together and make decisions about the life of First Parish. In addition to electing officers and leaders\, members vote on a budget in line with our values. We celebrate the many gifts we share and thank our talented\, dedicated volunteers who foster a beloved community. \nAccording to the Warrant (the official agenda)\, First Parish will have three big agenda items this year: (1) electing officers and Parish Committee members\, (2) voting on the proposed budget for FY 26-27\, and (3) voting on the election of our Settled Minister Search Committee\, a 7-person team selected from a list of 11 nominees.\n\nOther details: Childcare will be available for members attending the Annual Meeting. Please sign up in advance for childcare by contacting clerk@firstparish.info. \n“Kids’ Annual Meeting” (11:30am – 2:00pm)\, Parlor \nFamilies – bring your children to the “Kids’ Annual Meeting” this year for a fun way to take part in shared governance while grownups join the First Parish Annual Meeting.
