SUMMARY:Film Watch & Discussion: The Letter – A Laudato Si Film
DESCRIPTION:Join in watching and discussing this powerful film that follows a small group of representatives from different parts of the world – a young person\, an indigenous person\, a person raised in poverty\, a faith leader\, and two scientists – who the Pope invited to visit Rome.  They gathered to share their perspectives and experiences of climate change and our shared responsibility to protect people and nature today and for future generations. \nThursday\, Feb. 29th at 7pm – Join in a film watch at First Parish. Alternatively\, you can watch the film on your own.  It’s available to stream free-of-charge at https://www.theletterfilm.org/watch/ \nMonday\, March 4th at 7pm – Join in a discussion about the film and reactions to it and ways we might respond in alignment with our values. \nRSVP to star@firstparish.info is requested\, not required\, to give us an idea about how many people are likely to come.  If the dates/times don’t work for you\, please include that in your RSVP.  If there’s interest\, we could seek an additional date for discussion. \nJohn Anderson and Andrew Fischer will be facilitating this STAR Program
